Bitsy, sensing danger ahead, warns the others to stay back

An excerpt from my book. The illustration is from the journal of the adventurous Bitsy Armstrong. Personally, I can't wait to see what happens next - but whatever it is - it is up against a hard deadline. All must be told and concluded by Sept. 20th.
